“Blue! Merry Christmas to you too!”
“I’m sorry I’m not around much but I missed yoooou! How’ve you been, hmm?”
“It’s not.” he corrected without a hint of hesitation, but of course the girl would most likely take his usual monotony in good stride and pretend it didn’t affect at her. Knowing her, it probably didn’t since they had known each other for so long. Silver had long since decided to stop questioning her actions and just go with it. It never hurt himusuallyanyway.
“Blue, of course I don’t have plans. Since when do I ever have plans on my birthday…? I usually don’t celebrate it. That being said, going with you is the only thing I’ll be up to.”
Blue grinned and decided not to argue her point any further, since she does what she wants whether she wins arguments or not, usually. Though she wouldn’t say she was extremely self-important, she also felt she intuitively knew what was best at times.
“Good! Well, I thought maybe the other kids might’ve planned something, ya know. It’s not counter-productive to ask!” By ‘kids’ she actually meant the other Dex Holders, more specifically the Johto ones. Most specifically Gold. He seemed like a party kind of dude.

Silver could only sigh at the way she wagged a finger at her in a mock scolding manner, head shaking from side to side ever so slightly at the childishness that was seen in her ever so often. It was a natural occurrence to him now to see the older behave this way, and normally with anyone else he would have told them to grow up, but with Blue being like an older sister figure to him, he understood why she would wish to act as such. Today was important to her just as much as it should of been to him, he supposed, so he would comply…
“If… You insist, Blue, but I really don’t think that’s necessary.” he reassured her as she began to tug him along, proceeding to keep in step with her as they walked arm in arm. “Where are we going, exactly?”
“It definitely is necessary,” she countered. “I don’t know exactly, but we might find something fun to do! And a bakery somewhere, too, because cake is necessary, Silver.”
“That is, if you don’t already have plans, I forgot to ask,” Blue admitted sheepishly. “I just kinda dragged you with me, as usual!”

Silver gave a quiet laugh at her action, mimicking the action towards her as they walked along. To be honest, he didn’t even know where they were going, but it was good enough to be in the presence of the woman that he barely saw as it is despite how he’d prefer to be around her more than this. He couldn’t really stop her, for as the saying went, if you loved something you had to let it go and make its own choices. In this case it was Blue, and it wasn’t as if they didn’t have each other’s numbers… Well, he had hers, but what with the fact he had thrown his phone away after breaking it some time ago, he would need to get a new one and put her number back in because it was one of the few things he bothered to memorize.“It’s alright, Blue.” He assured her. “You being here is enough, and if I really wanted one, I could buy one on my own… Maybe we can find one later to share.”
“No no no,” She wagged her finger at Silver in a strict, very Crystal-like way, “It’s your birthday, so I will not have you buying a thing!” Blue nodded very seriously as if to affirm her own statement.
“It’s all on me today!” She broke out in a smile again and looped her arm through his as they walked along.

“I hope he will… Though I’m sure he’ll be busy…” The redhead agreed, glancing off as if to let the subject drop. The family subject wasn’t one he was familiar with like Blue was. Her family was more normal than his was, seeing as how the only family member he had that he still had contact with was the leader of a rather terrible organization. That didn’t stop Blue from thinking he was a somewhat decent father, apparently, which the exchanger appreciated. The man wasn’t the best, but Silver liked the fact he was there… Sometimes.At the scarf that was wrapped around his neck, Silver blinked in surprise. Knwoing how Blue enjoyed talking, he figured she would have mentioned him, but he didn’t think her mother would make him anything. His cheeks flushed a bit as he tugged at it a bit to loosen it around his neck a little, nodding a bit as a thank you. It had a gentle scent to it… He was a bit jealous of her, to be honest… “Next time you see her, tell her I said thank you.” he said, his voice sounding almost as if he was lost in thought. “I really appreciate being given it, Blue. Thank you.”
“I will! It’s no trouble at all, Silv,” she swayed and bumped his shoulder playfully.
“I was gonna carry cake with me too, but it might’ve gotten squished, heh…” There was no way it wouldn’t get eaten on her voyage anyhow, as she’d made a stop at Red’s, and he’s a bottomless pit.
